1. Do I need to seek permission for the use of our national symbols?
MICA administers the usage of the National Flag, State Crest, National Anthem, and the Lion Head Symbol. For enquiries, please email the National Heritage Board , stating your purpose of usage of the relevant symbols and the organisation you are representing. 3. Where can I get archival photographs of Singapore?
You can go to the Archives Reference Room, National Archives of Singapore (NAS) which is opened to the public from 9am - 5.30pm on weekdays and 9am - 1.30pm on Saturdays. NAS is located at the former Anglo-Chinese Primary School, at the foot of Fort Canning Hill. You can also contact the Archives Reference Room as follows:
