1. What is a press pass? When do I need it and how?
Press Accreditation Card (PAC) identifies the media personnel as bona fide journalists reporting in Singapore and gives them access to government information and events open to the media. If you are a media personnel working in Singapore, you will need to apply for one from the Media Relations Division of MCI. This can be done electronically via Press Accreditation Card (PAC) . For queries on the press accreditation card, please contact the Media Relations Division Duty Desk at Tel: (65) 6837 9666 or email Media Duty Officer.
2. Do I need to apply for a licence for my publications?
Publications are largely industry self-regulated. For more details on licenses for publications and other media, please go to MDA's website. If you require an International Standard Book Number (ISBN), you can apply for it through the National Library Board, which is the Singapore's national ISBN agency, at NLB's ISBN webpage, or an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) at NLB's ISSN webpage
